As a young girl I dreamed of being on Broadway.
I planned to move to New York with a girlfriend in my early 20's.
{I got a communications degree and became a high school English teacher instead.}
I met an amazing stage director and musician and fell head over heels.
He asked me to marry him on our second date. I was 26.
We had beautiful babies. Lots and lots of beautiful babies.
My girlfriend asked me, "What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?"
Capture beauty through my lens.
Life is precious. I'm only guarenteed this moment. And I'd rather fail at something I LOVE than succeed at something I could take or leave. Life in a nutshell.
I know who I am. I know whose I am. And His plans for me are far greater than I could ask or imagine.
I. love. life.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to visit my former blog "through the lens.

Ceremony: Endinburgh Room Tremont Grand
Reception: Corinthian Room Tremont Grand
Wedding Planner: Brandon at the Tremont Grand
Floral Design: Stanton Wingrat/ Flowers and Fancies
Photographer: Kathy Freundel and Associates

Allison and Tim celebrated in classic style at their early autumn wedding at The Tremont Grand right in the heart of Baltimore.
The bride and groom {and their families} could not be any more gracious . . .
so humble, so thoughtful, and so in love with one another.

We walked to a quaint park, right across from the hotel just before the ceremony so that Allison and Tim could privately share seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. Allison was stunning {with a little help from Lesley and Caroline from Studio 1612.}

Alli and Tim are so much fun to shoot.
They are relaxed, joyful and willing to try anything.
I bonded immediately with them when we did our “get-to-know-you” shoot at Hampton Mansion, and I have loved how our friendship has continued.

One thing is for sure. Allison and Tim are surrounded by forever friends that love them. There’s so much to love in them. Such a spirit of family and fun.

The incredibly talented, Stanton Wingrat of Flowers and Fancies was the floral designer for the evening.
His ears must have been burning, because people were talking about his amazing arrangements the whole night.

The restored Tremont Grand is just full of beautiful rooms . . . it’s simply stunning.

Another gorgeous cake by Catonsville’s Sugarbaker’s. . . . and Tim had a Zamboni groom’s cake!

The music, provided by Raggs and the All-Stars kept the crowd dancing all night. And I do mean that just about every person was dancing. The band’s leader, Scott, sure knows how to rock a party. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a better dance band. Full horn section. Amazing vocalists. Tight, tight, tight. Both Allison and Tim know their music, so this piece of the wedding was a priority. Allison is a singer, and her adoring fans chanted her up on stage at the end of the night. Boy, that girl has a nice set of pipes!

Look at the washroom! Ranked the 2nd finest washroom in the United States.

Alli and her Mom share a little moment during the festivities. Sweet. Friendship.

And the party continues.

Tim (my second shooter) and I rolled a slide show during the festivities.
