My Passion

As a young girl I dreamed of being on Broadway.

I planned to move to New York with a girlfriend in my early 20's.

{I got a communications degree and became a high school English teacher instead.}

I met an amazing stage director and musician and fell head over heels.

He asked me to marry him on our second date. I was 26.

We had beautiful babies. Lots and lots of beautiful babies.

My  girlfriend asked me, "What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?"

Capture beauty through my lens.

Life is precious. I'm only guarenteed this moment. And I'd rather fail at something I LOVE than succeed at something I could take or leave. Life in a nutshell.

I know who I am. I know whose I am. And His plans for me are far greater than I could ask or imagine.

I. love. life.

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to visit my former blog "through the lens.

Luna Blue Vintage. Baltimore Fashion Photographer.

bevers-1

Fresh. Retro. Decidedly Spring.

We were invited to shoot Luna Blue’s Spring Vintage show in Mt. Vernon last night.

In classic Charlotte and Henry Bevers style, the evening was full of humor, beautiful models, classic surf music and comfort food.

Entertainment was provided by Reed Walton of The Sweet Tarts Comedy Burlesque Troupe, and the models were from Gilded Lily Burlesque. Live music was provided by John Irvine of Garage Sale.

I’ve followed designer/ stylist Charlotte Bevers since her days at the New York School of Design. She has always expressed her soul through her fresh take on classic fashion. Since teaming up with Henry, Luna Blue Vintage has become a hot item up and down the east coast, known for affordable, wearable couture. Sweet.
