Baltimore Wedding Photographer Kathy Freundel bio picture

My Passion

As a young girl I dreamed of being on Broadway.

I planned to move to New York with a girlfriend in my early 20's.

{I got a communications degree and became a high school English teacher instead.}

I met an amazing stage director and musician and fell head over heels.

He asked me to marry him on our second date. I was 26.

We had beautiful babies. Lots and lots of beautiful babies.

My  girlfriend asked me, "What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?"

Capture beauty through my lens.

Life is precious. I'm only guarenteed this moment. And I'd rather fail at something I LOVE than succeed at something I could take or leave. Life in a nutshell.

I know who I am. I know whose I am. And His plans for me are far greater than I could ask or imagine.

I. love. life.

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to visit my former blog "through the lens.

Jenn. Fenceposts and Cowboy Boots.

She’s a two-steppin’ cowgirl who shoulda’ been  born in Austin.  She’s the Freundel kids’ Sunday school teacher {and believe me, they ALL have a crush}. She loves on orphans every year at El Canyon in Nicaragua. She’ll compete in the Miss Maryland pageant this October.

Jenn learned that she was accepted into the pageant during our photo shoot. She charmed the pageant officials while I waved my arms like a crazy person, mouthing “we’re gonna lose the light!!!”   We were both in a celebratory mood last night on Meadow Vale Farm, home of our good friends, Wayne and Pepper.

We literally chased the light through the fields. Jenn had been sailing on the Chesapeake all day and rolled in at dusk with chocolate ice cream on her cover up, no make up and hair in a scrunchie. She pulled this off in less than 10 minures.  How’s that for 99 and 44/100 % pure? Nothing retouched. Just sayin. Love this girl.

carl freundel - This is a perfect example of how greatness pushes itself to the top. In these beautiful pictures, in which Kathy has so artistically placed Jenn in stunning visual locations, it is hard to tell if the photographer made the suibject look good, or trhe subject made the photographer look good. When the lines are so beautifully blurred, you know great art is happening! Wonderful work.July 6, 2010 - 11:25 am
