“It’s a good thing. . . ” were the words I kept hearing all day. Yes, there were many good things about Jonn and Dana and their romantic vineyard wedding. Like sunny skies and breezy warmth. Like family and friends who came from all corners of the country, including a good portion of the state of Illinois. Like vows spoken with the conviction of a hundred tomorrows. And a throw down of a reception. It’s a good thing. . .

She’s bi-lingual and spends weeks each summer living in Spain. She’s a high school teacher extraordinaire and her students adore her. He is mountain man all the way. He would thrive in a log cabin in the woods with a hunting knife and his Taylor guitar . . . and Dana. Together they are magic . . . growing in love and faith deeper each day.

After shooting their “get to know you” session, I knew this wedding would be a blast. Both Jonn and Dana are dear to my heart and we share a relationship of pure trust and atheistic affinity. (pretty much I mean they say “let’s do it!” to everything I suggest . . . bliss) Every single vendor I talked to RAVED about how Jonn and Dana share generosity and kindness without limits.

Jonn and Dana. They’re definitely a good thing.
Cindy Jacobs of Cinful Cuisine catered the entire affair exquisitely and DJ Frank Young kept the party going into the night.
